Greenwich Sports Club (GSC)
Greenwich Sports Club was founded as a community club in 1936 committed to enhancing the lives of all its members and the spirit of its community through participation in sport; ensuring fairness in attitude, respect, equity in action and integrity; and providing providing friendship and enjoyment. Today, GSC offers a variety of football and netball programs for over 500 children and adults—from Under 6 to Over 45. The Club is proud of its community-based roots yet also pleased to field many competition winners across all age groups.
GSC membership is made up of residents of Greenwich, many other local lower north shore communities and the greater Sydney metro region. Members are attracted to GSC for numerous reasons, including its emphasis on fostering social relationships as a community club. To this end, the Club sponsors numerous social events each year including a welcome day sausage sizzle, a family social with a charity component, an adult’s dinner and the year-end family Picnic Day. Event dates are published on the GSC Calendar.
Whether you are new to the area or just looking for a friendly place to play sport, GSC is a fantastic choice. If you are interested in playing football for Greenwich Sports Club, please contact the appropriate age group coordinator with any enquiries. For netball, please contact the netball convenor.
